Country Trails first grade teacher, Teresa Cinquegrani, requested funding to purchase readers’ theater scripts. Scripts allow students to read text with expressive voices and gestures. The repeated reading practice is an important factor in building fluency and enthusiasm for reading. Scripts can be easily incorporated into K-3rd grade classrooms. The scripts will also be an available resource to use with struggling 4th and 5th grade students.
