Congratulations 2009 Scholarship Recipients!

The 301 Central Education Foundation is proud to present the first scholarship recipients.

The Charles J. Marshall Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Central's senior, Brian N.  Brian plans to pursue his career interests of interior design and architecture at Harrington College of Design in Chicago.  While Brian was his Junior and Senior Class President, he found time to be involved in a variety of Central's clubs - Art Club, Service Club, Writers Club.  Brian ended his senior year being in the Spring musical and earning a spot in the National Honor Society.

Kelsey G. was awarded the Family & Consumer Science Scholarship.  Kelsey will be attending Judson University in Elgin to pursue her degree in psychology/sociology.  After four years of participation in Central's Color Guard, she ended her senior year as captain of the team.  Kelsey is very involved with younger children and has been a youth leader all four years.

The Foundation is excited to provide assistance and support to these two recent graduates of Central High School.  We applaud them for their hard work and determination.  We wish them a bright and promising future.
